| I always remember Avex Mode as one of the sponsors for Angelic Layer. I distinctly remember thinking for a long time is was "Savex" due to that blob in the logo and the a being in lower case. |

It's a rare instance when I see Code-E and Mission-E mentioned for, well, anything! |

| more companies doing anime, means more shows getting licensed, so maybe more niche shows will make it here. |

This is not the case considering how many companies have gone under recently. Even though NIS is now doing licensing, the more shows available just means more niche shows shafted. Licensing companies want to take advantage of shows that will make them a profit. That being said, most good shows are licensed and will be licensed eventually no matter of popularity. |

| Hmmm, I always thought "avex mode" was their anime division, but I guess it was just a sub-label or something to stick all their anime releases on, but not an actual division. |

| Dangerous move. They should of just stuck with music based properties. While the recording industry is also dying the grass on the other side being anime isn't fairing too well themselves. Avex Mode was their licensing of music properties that other anime companies used. Directly competing with the hand that feeds isn't usually a good idea. |

| As a general principle, I like the idea of more companies joining the animation game. Obviously, the real proof will be in the pudding. Hopefully Avex will come out with some cool shows. |
