I'm very happy about that- I went into the series knowing nothing and I came out with a lot.

Well, by comparison, I think Haruhi had around 60,000 views in its first weekend, so I think 100,000 for what is just a recap movie is pretty good.

I'm interested to see in how the non-recap movie will do.

How is Eden of The East the Movie I: The King of Eden a recap movie? I remember reading news about a while back that Production I.G will be releasing a compilation movie (of the TV episodes) before the two movies' future releases.

That might be impressive. Eden of the East doesn't have Haruhi level supporters.

It wasn't a recap movie. I just pre-ordered my tickets for the second movie before visiting ann. Very excited to see how it all ends.
