I'm sure there's a good chance Sentai may pick it up depending on the success they have with Gintama.
I think if FUNi or Viz wanted it they would have grabbed it by now. |

I really think that this is a very nice extra for the DVD release of Reborn!. I would really like to see it.
I would not rule out Funimation or Viz to get Reborn! yet. There are many issues involved in getting a show licensed so that maybe why Reborn! has not been licensed for DVD release. Both companies may just be trying to decide on when they might want to get it.
Reborn! is a popular title and it would do really well as a dub because it already has an American feel to it. Mafia stories do well in America look at Baccano! and for live action the Godfather. The show has a strong following as well.
I really hope that one day Funimation or VIZ would Reborn! because they would dub it. However if Section 23 wanted to dub Reborn! it would be a very good show for them to work on for a dub now that they are dubbing a few shows again. |
