Given where they are right now, I'm not surprised. My friends who are reading One Piece just can't stop raving about how 'epic' the last set of chapters have been. Hell, one of them - who generally refuses to buy anything - is even going to buy those select volumes of One Piece when they're released in North America!

Why? One of the things I hate about the MAL database is how people are frequently replacing the anime/manga photo entry for these long-running shonen series to show off the latest, new shiny piece of promotional art that just came out because everybody's losing their mind about the latest crew member, arc, etc. I'd say, leave one picture that's relatively early on that reflects the series properly and let the viewer discover all the changes that happen from then on. |

To bad the US didn't have this kind of viewership. If it did, the DVDs would not be the most illegaly streamed in history.
Funi should have found a way to bring One Piece to the AS block after the skypeia arc finished. Same with other series like strike witches and Soul Eater. |

That's great news for it's TV rating.
I most recently got excited when I heard when Season 3 Part 1 will be released in America. Cause I wait more than 2 1/2 years to own those episodes without the TV edits that were applied to them when only half of the Skypiea Saga episodes aired on CN. |
