| I almost won that mop for 260. She sniped me at the very end. Damn. Oh well. There's always the $500 Daisuke sawdust. |

...260 dollars? Gah, I ended up paying over $300 for mine... Shipping prices were ridiculous, too.
It was worth it, though. I even got a special glass case for display purposes. I'm sure all my guests will be jealous.

"Isle of the Seven Brooms." Good stuff!
You all have to see that movie! Too bad I wasn't at the premiere to get the special edition mop --- I had to settle for a DVD.
And for you dub fans: Yes, the dub is quite good. Daisuke's English voice sounds just like his Japanese voice, and the same goes for the other characters.
And lastly, the movie's plot is non-canon. Good thing, because there's one character, "Sir Sanitary" (yes, it is rendered as "Sir Sanitary" even in the original Japanese) that is just corny.
Still, though, the movie overall is quite good.
EDIT: I could have paid through the nose to buy a special edition mop online? Why didn't I think of that?! |

I didn't really like Isle of the Seven Brooms as much as Buckets of the Cleanser King (movie #7). That was top-notch, with the quality of storytelling of the first few films with the animation of the past few. IofsB was decent, but I felt that there was too little of characters like Sano and Keno. I'm still trying to wrangle one of the special edition gold-engraved buckets like the ones in BotCK.

Ew. I wouldn't want to read that manga when you're done with it. |

| I'm not quite sure about the dub. It seems like Greg Ayres keeps getting typecast. And I'm not sure repeating the phrase "Time to clean!" over and over helps much. |

Oh definitely, Cleanser King was good (Sano and Keno are a definite plus in my book), but IofsB was intended to temporarily take Daisuke out of his usual setting, and it handled that quite well, in my opinion.
Cleanser King was as good as it was because the person who directed the first few films was brought back.
Now excuse me while I order some volumes of the (English translation of the) original manga. |

"Super Fan Glee".
That was just hilarious. Kevin's face in the first panel was quite the look.
As to the movie, I am annoyed that I never got to see it in cinemas. I have had to settle with the collector's edition DVD set. Too bad I had to sell my dog's puppies to pay for it, but this is UMD. |

Limited Special edition mop eh? That would really suck if it was a mop from someone's closest lol. My question is what was the first UMD movie and why was I not informed about it! |

Awesome. The UMD DX makes a grand (and also quite hilarious) return. I love how you folks are taking it so "seriously." |

I got one of those mops for only $97 from eBay, but I think it's a Chinese knockoff because the label reads "Most Strong Broom of Wet Daisuki"
Oh yes, and for anyone having trouble getting into the early episodes, you have to stick it out until episode 179, when ManaMana's tragic backstory is finally revealed. You'll cry (mop) buckets of tears, trust me. I never thought I'd see such a great moemoe catgirl maid with glasses who refers to herself in third person in a shounen anime like UMD, but I've never been happier to be wrong. |
