Those were my thoughts exactly. Two producers of some of the most loved anime of the 80s, gone. Sad

well, dang... and I hear this AFTER I've already had more to drink than I should have... I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to have a shot of sake in his memory.

This man worked on some of the shows I remember most from my childhood. I still have the Denver The Last Dinosaur theme on my iPod. He will be missed.

That is one epic mustache. Bravo sir, and may you rest in peace. I was a huge Voltron fan as a child, and still am.

not sure if this completely counts, but one of the writers for Thundercats was killed. while it was American produced they had several Japanese studios working on the animation, including Topcraft, many of whose employees have also worked with Studio Ghibli.

R.I.P.

This guy was a god as far as I'm concerned. Voltron, Saber Rider and Denver the Last Dinosaur were daily fixtures in my life from ages 4-6.

RIP Mr. Keefe.

I hope it brings some solace to his family to know that Peter brought great joy to many viewers, and made a huge contribution to the television and toy industries. His legacy continues on with the many people who learned from Peter how to make a hit show out of practically nothing, and with the audience who didn't care what it was or where it came from; they just enjoyed it.

He will be missed.

Geeze, why are so many good people kicking the bucket this year,we've been losing alot of good producer's and celebrities lately. Sad

First the Producer of Robotech, and now the producer of Voltron and Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs passes on,it's a sad day in the anime industry this year. these were two more shows I grew up as a kid. Sad

These amazing people shall never be forgotten. R.I.P
