Man, she's a little too young(and hot) to have health problems. Get Well soon, Aiuchi-san.

Sometimes "health" means "pregnant" (see Ikue Ohtani) in agency-speak. |

Maybe, but then that makes "partly because of her health, with which she has experienced problems in the past" sound really strange. Either way, hopefully things work out for her and I'm sure lots of fans will be saddened by this news. |

I wonder if it's real or PR doublespeak for another reason, like mrsatan mentioned. If it's real, it really does drive home the possibility that the Japanese entertainment industry, in all facets, is really rough on its artists. At any rate, I liked her music and I'll miss hearing new songs, but hope things work out for her!

Very perceptive Mr.Satan, I thought the same thing. Only because of her age though. I've meet numerous people that have retired in their late 40's-60's, but I've never heard of a 30 year old retiree in the anime business. Case Closed and MAR are the only shows I heard of that were listed, but I only watched them in English. |

I'm going off to cry now. I guess I'd rather see her healthy and not singing than unhealthy and singing, but MAN...that just kills me.

I know exactly what you mean. I just now got the news and I'm just heartbroken... But you're right, I'd rather her be healthy and not singing than the alternative. Now I'm going to follow your lead and mope for the rest of the day... -sobs- |
