I remember seeing animated shorts of this in-between commercial breaks in Japan. I'm sort of interested to see how it looks in 3D; the mom looks hilarious Anime hyper

Chen Chu, incumbent mayor of Kaohsiung, looks somewhat similar to the "mother" of ATASHIn'CHI and has been nicknamed as such. She accepted the nickname and even cosplayed the character.
