| So this OVA is a remake then? Because the new Princess Resurrection trailer looks like a lot of stuff we've already seen. |

Yes, apparently you need blood otherwise the vampire story won't be as attractive to teenagers. Sincerely, I never looked at the princess as if she was a vampire, but more like a different kind of supernatural being. But if she's going to spill her blood every now and then to feed Hiro I'd rather have my old Princess Resurrection.
The music doesn't fit the first at all, if anything I suppose it's time to discard whatever I knew of the old adaptation in case I want to enjoy future ones. Still, with or without blood, as long as Hiro's still that wimpy there's just a limit to how enjoyable this can get. |

| I hope they are making a remake because they plan to do a second season later on, otherwise it seems to me like a waste of money to do a remake when there is so much story yet to be animated. I suppose a second season would return to the flame thing instead of the blood, because if memory serves right Princess Resurrection was not an anime shown in a post midnight slot. |

| The PR anime was garbage, I hope this OVA at least follows the manga. No, scratch that, at least has animation better than a slide-show.... |
