Flying is cheaper than driving six hours. Safer too. Though you would have to find a cheap hotel to stay the night if you can't fly back on the same day. |

I'm looking forward to watching them here in Atlanta on Friday, myself!
caveat: My other real name is Yuuenchi, only I had to reset my pw, which somehow reset my acct name to anglicanotaku (yeah, there's a story in that, no, I'm not going to give it here) -cause I'm sure that I had my name changed. And, whenever I try to go to any other part of the forum,other than the topic I'm replying to, all Iget is a blank screen...Any ideas? |

YES! Right in Downtown Tempe. I knew it would be the same theater that played FMA The Sacred Star of Milos. And I know just how to get there.
And it looks like Aniplex USA's twitter noticed my tweet on "Please show Madoka movies in Phoenix, Arizona!" I am so happy! And so will my friends and all the other Madoka fans in AZ!
Too bad I already requested the previous weekend off from work because of a convention in Mesa. Why can't they show the movies on January 5th? I could've gone to the convention during the day then head to Tempe to watch the movie! |

Are you factoring in other costs, such as having a way to get around once you get to you destination? There is also the ability to cancel at that last minute, if necessary (or even mid-trip) with no penalty. I don't think you can do that with a discounted air travel ticket. What type vehicle you are driving also has a big impact on cost.
Not having to deal with the TSA is also a nice side benefit to driving.  |

Me too (well, 4 hours) but I had a lot going on that weekend. Maybe it'll get an encore, though I think that unlikely.
Oh well, it's cool that they are still spreading this around the country for more to see. |
