A question on the future of more Gundam announcements.

The number one question we get.

We're happy to have announced TURN A, I don't have any details as yet regarding the specs for the title.

As mentioned at Otakon, we know the demand for some kind of re-release of original Gundam. No plan is set, but it's being discussed.
That's good to hear, just know Bandai, not much people are demanding a dub here, we just want the show, as fast as possible! Surprised

For Bandai: If you guys are doing K-ON! Blu-rays, do you plan to use the pink Blu-ray cases like the Japanese used?

To FUNimation or Bandai

How about some Bandai anime on the FUNimation Channel? There's not just FUNimation licensed anime on there afterall.

What is your stance on obtaining the rest of xxxHolic? It's been three years now since the first series was licensed and has already been released and re-released three times. How about xxxHolic Kei and the OVAs?

My American Airlines issued Magic 8 ball says "Outlook Cloudy"

There's a chance that we might acquire more of xxHolic, but don't hold your breath. As a fan of the series myself, it saddens me when I have to answer these type of questions. The series has a loyal audience and we are glad you love the show. I wish there were more fans of the series to support the expense of bringing a second series out right now.

As we have done with Tenchi Muyo OVA 3, Evangelion 1.11 and Slayers Revolution and evolution-R -- we try to "bring the band back together" and get as many of the original cast as possible.

I am assuming you will try outsource to an appropriate studio in the same region as the former dub (as with Tenchi and Slayers) and not do it in-house (as with Evangelion)?

I'd understand if some of the cast may not be able to return (since it's been a few years), but I'd really like to see the continuations of Shana and Black Lagoon at least done by the same studio, Ocean.

To FUNi: Can I have that American Airlines issued Magic 8 ball after the con ends or must it remain on-board?

Is their any interest in Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: Plan to Destroy the Saiyajin (OAV) . It was originally released on home video cassettes in Japan on August 6, 1993 between episodes 195 and 196. The OVA has since been re-released on DVD in Japan as an extra feature of the Dragon Box collection in 2003.

What is this Cardcaptor Sakura series? I've never heard of it.

No plans.

However, if we get a huge fan campaign demanding the series sent directly to us, that could push the needle. We need to gauge the level of interest before investing all the money and resources.

To Funimation:

Are there still plans to release the Dragonbox: The Movies set? Also if there are plans will they include the Dragonball movies in addition to the DBZ movies?
