And thanks to everyone who's commented so far! I'm really, really stoked beyond normality about this project, and I'm glad people appreciate it! We're working on getting you guys some great content, so please look forward to it!!

Wow, kudos to everyone working on this. It's really going to be an impressive addition to ANN. I'm just glad it's you and not me, 'cause I would have no clue how to deal with the eventual flood of requests you're gonna get from everyone wanting to an interview with their favorite designer/composer/director. Good luck with that! Wink

So, um... will there be a Yoko Kanno interview in the future? Kidding! (Don't hurt me!) ...will there?

Me I'm jazzed to see an interview with Kevin.

Every con I go to I keep my eye out for him and his camera. I'm really bad at keeping pictures of myself around to give event organizers. I often point them to Kevin as an image source.

Gotta get those official portraits done for my publisher. I only promised to do it back in '98 <grin>

On the one hand, you're technically correct; I could have been a hostile interviewer. On the other, it doesn't matter. This is not an investigative article on Tokyopop, it's a profile of someone who has largely defined the way manga is presented in the US. Having said that, there were no "stipulations" or input from Tokyopop on the kinds of questions I asked Stu -

I didn't say you had to be "'Hostile' Hostile;" Maybe just asking one question along the lines of 'What do you have to say about those that think that your not adhearing to the "bridging the cultural gap" when your accused of changing entire dialogues or renaming characters?' would've sufficed.

I simply came up with several that I myself think manga fans may be interested in finding out the answers to.

I knew Yuki Kajiura did the .hack soundtrack which was great (gotta love Yasashii Yoake), but I didn't know she worked on Gundam SEED as well. That could be why I enjoy that soundtrack too.
