MMD isnt just for making Hatsune Miku dance; it suppors fan-made models of all the Vocaloid characters as well as a ton of other stuff, from Idol Master to Touhou Project to Hetalia to that one gay pro-wrestler guy Nico Video is enamoured with.

Well it needed and update as the graphics were looking kind of dated. Some very scary, and screwed up shyte has been done to the vocaloids using MMD by some very scary and screwed up people I hope don't get out often.

You can download models, you know. You don't have to use the crappy default ones. Also, that's not what's been updated, anyway. It's just in 3D now.
