Here's somme info for the Tsubasa movie that is animated made by Production IG.

After the TV anime adaption of CLAMP´s Tsubasa - RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE by Bee-Train sucessfully premiered in Japan, a new announcement is out that there´ll be a theatrical anime feautre to screen in August 2005. Gekijôban Tsubasa • Chronicle - Tori Kago no Kuni no Himegumi (Tsubasa Chronicle the Movie - Princess of the Country of the Bird Cage) Will be screened nationwide in Japan together with Gekijôban XXXHOLiC - Manatsu no Yoru no Yume (XXXHOLic the Movie - A Midsummernight´s dream). While the TV series Tsubasa • Chronicle is a Bee-Train production, the theatrical version will be done by Production IG (like XXXHOLic) and the director will also switch for the movie to Itsuro Kawasaki (director of L/R, worked on IG projects like Stand Alone Complex, Windy Tales and Bee-Train stuff like Wild Arms).

August is going to be a busy month. The fact that there is a road show for the film is more motivation to go see it. Very Happy

Oh, I'm really happy they are making a movie. The anime is pretty, but the characters seem out of proportion and too long at times. I know this is how the style is done in the manga, but I don't think they carried it over to the screen very well. On the other hand, the poster for the movie looks really good.

Yeah, I enjoyed the 3 seconds of moving pics. And poor Tsubasa didn't even get moving pics!
