It wasn't my first, but I picked up the first two ani-manga (why?) of InuYasha. I haven't read any since seeing as I've already seen the anime, and I want to get Takahashi's manga. |

then after that i picked up the first issue of Shonen Jump,subcribed,and have been reading manga ever since.

My first was XXXHolic, I just started last summer reading manga. Although I have been buying alot, I alone have about 30+ volumes of manga and my brother owns about 5.

The first manga I bought was Kare Kano 1. I probably wouldn't have began reading manga if it wasn't for the fact that the anime version left me high and dry. From Kare Kano, it kinda just snowballed from there...

My first manga was Gundam Wing: Episode 0. Currently I'm reading Black Lagoon, Claymore, Dogs: Bullets and Carnage, Gunslinger Girl, and Higurashi-When They Cry.

Well, if you literally mean first Japanese comic, then it would be Robotech. My cousins used to collect them back in the day. But the first actual japanese graphic nove that I read, was Full Metal Panic.

The first manga I've ever read was...Excel Saga, but I got vol.2 because I thought it would continue from the first volume of the anime...I felt really stupid
