Can we suggest American animation works with unusually strong ties to American releases of anime or the source material of that anime?

Submit them under "non-anime roles" in their respective entries.

This is unrelated to rejected titles whatsoever.

I'm curious as to why Super Duper Sumos is in the Encyclopedia?
anime#2316 From what I can tell it has nothing to do with anime or japan except "sumo wrestling".

Because ADV releases it? Invader Zim is released by a company that releases anime and that wasn't added. Sorry for the questions, I'm just a little confused..lol.

Probably, but don't take my word for it. It was added way before I learned the existence of ANN. Anime smallmouth + sweatdrop

Probably stupid question, but I'm curious about it since Thundercats is in the encyclopedia. What constitutes an 80's american cartoon being japanese enough to be added to the encyclopedia. Inspector Gadget and The Littles both were mostly animated by Japanese animators and both had executive producer "Tetsuo Katayama."

I'm just curious as to what is allowed in that type of genre and whats not.?

Can any moderators please get back to me on this question from long ago? I'm holding off trying to submit either titles because of well, them possibly not being allowed. Embarassed

Beats me. Record shows that it was added before I became part of the staff.

So was Darkwing Duck if I remember its credits roll correctly.

Unlikely. With the exception of those who have both accesses (like administrators and abunai), moderators don't have access to the non-public part of the encyclopedia, just like we encyclopedists don't have access to lock or unlock threads. If you have any question about the Encyclopedia, look for an encyclopedist, not a moderator.

You can forget about those two as they will not be approved nowadays anyway.

Thundercats is on the Encyclopedia mainly because it's been reported in the News section a few times.

The Avatar is based on chinese culture and mythologly, even the martial art are chinese, and to has the style of an anime, but it animated is american.

I guess the new Transformers will be rejected.

Kappa Mikey, could be related to anime, the building mikey work at is a actual building in Japan. It's basically poking fun of Japanese and American culture.

Nope. Transformers: Animated is a U.S./Japan co-production, with Studio 4°C and Mook DLE providing some of the animation work.

Just because Mikey works in Japan doesn't mean his show should be added to the Anime Encyclopedia. That is the lamest sense of logic I've read so far this year.

Can't blame me for not given out good information.

Super Robot Monkey Hyper Force Go was animated by The Answer Studio.
