| This looks like it's going to be a completely different universe to the OVA. Doesn't even say Saya's a vampire. This reminds me of what happened to the Tenchi franchise. The design looks a bit Ghibli-ish. Not that that is a bad thing just not the same as the OVA, but if it's a completely different story it won't matter. | ||||

The movie was only 45 minutes long, but it was an excellent 45 minutes. This new series looks kind of goofy, though. I am totally put off by the character designs. And what happened to Saya being a vampire? Guess this really is a seperate continuity. |

To be honest with you I though the Chara's for GITS: SaC was not good but when I saw the series and I love it. So I will keep my opinion of Blood's Character designs to myself until I see the animation. |

I'm hoping that the series begins pre-movie with Saya discovering her past as the series porgresses. I won't be able to see it until it get's released in the states, though. 
I wonder why quite a few anime have characters from Okinawa. I spent six years there and fell in love with the place! Maybe because it's remote, but recognizable? |
