I didn't even know there was one. Shocked Well, that is good news. Surprised they didn't turn it into a series like they did with Tales of Eternia.

Can't wait to see it!

Though it would have been nice if Tales of Phantasia was like a full length series; the OVA is pretty much crammed up. Nonetheless, I watch it just to see Arche animated; she so rocks! Cool

This is pretty good news. I guess it would be a little more complete if Namco finally did some release of the game in the states.

But hey, this is good for the time. =P

I'd kill to Tales of Phantasia (the game) actually come to the states. I suppose that window is closed now, but I still hope that someday Namco will come around.

Well, there was a GBA release less than two years ago. I don't know why Namco isn't interested in bringing over that one, but I'm guessing they're a little nervous about some of the themes in the story (though I don't know why they would be).

It could happen, since Tales of Symphonia did pretty well, especially considering that it was for Gamecube, which has a smaller installed user-base than PS2. You have to remember that series like Tales of... and Dragon Quest/Warrior don't have as much popularity in North America as RPGs like Final Fantasy do, so not every title in the "less popular" (though still very cool and often better) is going to be released when a Final Fantasy can come out and trounce it in sales.
