I can't wait till the OAV is released! I'm loving the title they're going to use---very unique from the original R2 version. The cover art is also very compelling.

I've seen pictures of the OVA before (who hasn't?), and I'm very interested to see if the dub isn't going to be such a disappointment as the TV series was. As much as I love Gravitation and Maki-sama's stunning-ness, I can't say I was impressed by the dub. Rich McNanna is a dear, but his voice acting isn't exactly... Oscar-winning.

Getting off the subject of OVA. The cover is beautiful. I love the picture. It's nice to see Yuki in such a position. He doesn't look so aloof. He looks as if he's leaning into Shuichi and his love for him. *content sigh* That's a nice thought. Those glasses look great on him!

Anyway, I can't wait for the 30th of August to roll around! I think I'm going to preorder this baby! Very Happy

Yay ^^ ! I've been waiting to see the Gravitation OVA for a while, and the date is finally set. Can't wait ^-^ ! I just love the picture they've got up so I hope that's the actual picture that RightStuf is going to use for the dvd.

I don't know, when I saw the first episode on NewType USA's preview disc, as soon as I saw the two guys hugging each other like that, and the fact that the singer guy broke up with his girlfriend so that he could be with the boy, I knew this would be a title I won't be buying or watching. This is probably ok for the girls who like Yaoi type anime.

The thing in the first episode about breaking up with the girlfriend is all a misunderstanding. Like the viewer, Shuuichi assumes that the girl who left Yuki's house was his girlfriend, but it was actually his sister trying to convince him to visit home.

About the OAV, I've always thought that picture of Shuuichi and Yuki was cute (it's one where Shuu-chan actually looks like a guy for once Anime smile), although with the glasses and the way his hair covers his eye, I always get Dr. Muraki vibes from Yuki when I see it Anime smile

Even though I've heard some people say that the OAV isn't as good as either the anime or the TV series, I still plan on getting it. I've seen the screencaps, and I'm VERY curious about the one scene that has Yuki with a whip and Shuuichi all tied up Wink

Shuichi + Yuki = Cuteness always

Muraki + Yuki = Total wrongness

And did someone mention a whip? S&M now? Well seeing how Shuichi is always taking that verbal abuse from Yuki, it's no wonder he'd have fantasies about *that* with Yuki. He wants to make the verbal lashings into physical ones. Anime hyper

Or... is it Yuki having that "dream"? Anime hyper
