| And the 2nd omnibus of Girl Friends made it to #5 which is a definite improvement from the last one. I wonder if this will get noticed by U.S. and especially Japanese companies so they'll know that fans want THIS type of yuri. |

I'm not a yuri fan but I have noticed (after reading the review for this series on this site) that yaoi is definitely over stated and saturated in the market. At the last couple of cons I went to there was almost no, if any, yuri being sold. At least according to the review it sounds like something that makes a bit more sense than just "Hey hey, here's some fanservice, you just want to see bounce and nudity don't you?" For some reason that's the way I feel about yuri and probably most yaoi, but different body parts for yaoi obviously. |
