Absolutely.

Please let me know if these are too small.

I did include a closeup of the barcode and publishing information that's printed on the back, if that helps. The ones I attempted to look up didn't garner any search results, but I don't remember if I tried these exact two. Each volume is usually named the same thing as one of the two episodes (like "The Violinist" for the Cinderella volume I included images of), and doesn't have an actual volume number printed. Sometimes the volume is just the series title, like the Robin Hood volume I posted scans of. These are all English dub only, and the backs give episode summaries of each episode (varying from a sentence or two to paragraphs).

I only have about a dozen of these, but I'm happy to provide any info on the ones I do have.

I can upload them elsewhere to make your life easier, if you tell me a place that will be viewable to you. Shall I list the info for the other discs also? Or perhaps scan them?

Edit:
Unrelated correction. I just added the missing releases for Haunted Junction, and volumes 2-6 of the VHS came up as dub releases when they should all be subtitled only. There isn't an English dub for that show.

release#31302
release#31301
release#31300
release#31298 (This one I also goofed by putting the sub info in the title - I wasn't sure how to select dub/sub for VHS, but then saw it automatically made a selection after submitting this one as a test. Sorry about that. :/)
release#31299
release#31297 (The DVD is also sub only)

Some missing info that needs to be added to the description. Also, any way I can have spoiler tags that will hide these quotes unless you click on a button? I'm going to have plenty, plenty more examples to bring up (mostly much older ones), and I'd rather not have my posts look like massive walls of text at first glance.

Baccano! Anime Classics

Tokyo ESP Limited Edition and Regular Edition need this added.
Quote:
Contains episodes 1-12.

Special Features: Episode Commentaries, DVD/BD Spots Commercial, Textless Opening "Tokyo Zero Hearts", Textless Closings "Kyuusei Argyros" and "Lasting Memories", U.S. Trailer, Trailers.

Spoken Languages: English, Japanese, English subtitles.

Free!: Eternal Summer Regular Edition, Limited Edition, and Premium Edition need "Features TBA" replaced with this.
Quote:
Features: Episode Commentaries, Web Previews, Extended, End Card Collection, Illustration Collection, Memorial Promo Video, Promo Videos, Textless Opening ''Dried Up Youthful Fame'', Textless Closing ''FUTURE FISH'', U.S. Trailer, Trailers
http://shop.funimation.com/Season-Two-For-the-Future-FUNimation-Premium-Edition

For some reason this is only on the FUNi store listings, Rightstuf still says "Features TBA".

The Boy and the Beast DVD for some reason got the plot summary not from Rightstuf. So it's missing the special features too.

Lord Marksman and Vanadis RE Combo Pack needs to be moved into the combo pack section.

Triltaison: I've done Haunted Junction.

Now going back to those tapes..

Since I apparently haven't linked them before:
Robin Hood no Daibōken
Cinderella Monogatari

The UPCs are registered to TurboLabs LLC, NY.

Both properties are mentioned in this document, in English: http://web.archive.org/web/20091122125233/http://www.mondotv.it/RIGHTS_PORTFOLIO_MONDOTV_2009_2010-ii.pdf (synopsis for both, with Cinderella also stating "Co-produced with Tatsunoko Productions, Supervised by Orlando Corradi". Also, that guy with the pencil in his mouth who looks like he fell into MS Paint hell will haunt my dreams tonight)

Ohh, and a full working minisites, in English, for both titles: http://web.archive.org/web/20100212050529/http://www.mondotv.it/EN_Mondo/Mondo_EN/TVSeriesEN.html (still no release information though...)

I assume this is the press release you mentioned:
http://www.mondotv.it/download/comunicati-stampa/2014/giugno/cos-20140604-turbo-labs-ita-eng.pdf
Quote:
Rome, 4 June 2014:Mondo TV S.p.A. informs that Turbo Labs, home video U.S. distributor, will launch from September 2014 a test for sale of DVD's containing some Mondo TV's library programs in some stores of the Walmart chain.

After the test, which shall take some months, the distribution may be extended to a larger number of stores of the same chain in whole U.S. territory with payment of royalties to Mondo TV.

Matteo Corradi, Managing Director of Mondo TV, stated: "We are really excited for this launch which opens a very important channel; Turbo Labs has worked very well for offering to Mondo TV this fantastic window which may carry great results in the event of a positive outcome".

Oddly, that press release is from 2014, yet the turbolabs.com domain seems to have been up for sale since mid-2014, and the last time it had anything actually hosted on it was 2004 and that was software. 1854 West 3rd Street is, well, a house.

According to this thread Mondo have done something similar in Australia.

The discs clearly exist since you have them and, other than oddities with the distributor, the discs seem legit - but everything is going to have to be done by hand.

@shanafan(?)

If the information is on TRSI, you just need to link the the releases; the descriptions pulled from all the retailers are displayed on the edit page already, I just need to copy and paste.

As for "Features: TBA", I just added the latest FUNi solicitations and they were all like that. I don't believe the information was on the FUNi site either initially, it was added later.

That should all be done now.

I finally got my username changed to the one I've been using everywhere for years now thanks to this (I even posted in there almost two years ago), so ShanaFan852 was me yes (and I didn't change my avatar).

For much older releases that are no longer listed on Rightstuf, would linking to DVDEmpire work just as well, like so (either the back cover, or the listing if they listed the extras)?

The data for the old TRSI site is still archived, so that one at least was another simple c&p job.

How so? Are you playing around with how the old Rightstuf URL's worked on the Internet Archive?

Like are you able to get the data on this (just another random example I found)? Though like most ADV thinpaks, this probably had the extras from the singles stripped.
release#4396

Well if I find more (there's so many older releases missing this sort of info), guess I'll just link the release entry.

The data last imported by the scraper remains in the system

rightstuf.com:
Quote:
In the year 2015, the world outside of Tokyo has been destroyed... or so it appears. High school student Ayato Kamina encounters a sudden fighter attack of mysterious origins. In the midst of the destroyed city, he meets a mysterious girl named Reika Mishima. As if led by Reika, Ayato boards the subway and arrives at the sanctuary where he comes upon the moment in which the giant humanoid being, "Rahxephon," emerges from its egg. Now, Ayato must pilot the Rahxephon in defense of his world and discover the truth behind his skewed reality.

Spoken Languages: English, Japanese, English Subtitles.

AnimeNation:
Quote:
The city of Tokyo has been overthrown, taken over by the Mu, invaders who have devastated the rest of the planet. Within the domed walls of the city, however, time flows in a different path, and none of the citizens even know they've been conquered. Outside Tokyo, the remnants of the human race have fought a desperate 15-year war against the Mu, knowing only that the key to victory lies within the occupied city. But no one has been able to get into Tokyo—until Ayato Kamina, a young resident fleeing a horrifying attack on the city, unwittingly breaks out. An extraordinary mystery unfolds as Ayato confronts a world he has never known, and begins to learn the horrifying secrets of RahXephon, a humanoid super weapon which apparently only he can control.

A unanimous selection of Anime Insider, Animerica, Beckett Anime and Newtype USA as one of the top anime of all time, RahXephon is a groundbreaking series. Its giant magnificent creatures, colorful characters, and epic scope make RahXephon accessible to casual fans and essential viewing for the hardcore otaku.

The Complete Collection puts the entire seven volume RahXephon saga within reach of even the most budget-conscious fan in a attractive ThinPak box set.

Well that's rather interesting, but definitely very useful, will make fixing releases like the below much easier unless the Rightstuf link wasn't added. Some more releases missing various info (extras, episode counts, languages, synopsis).

release#18068
release#18066 -Got the top portion of the synopsis from somewhere else for some reason.
release#10619
release#1015
release#3497
release#5124
release#14252
release#9683
release#9575
release#3766
release#9736 -Title also needs to be fixed, left hyphen got into the title.
release#3765
release#4368
release#6747
release#7220
release#22508
release#15373
release#12292
release#8853
release#27060
release#27059 -Needs to be moved into the combo pack section.
release#26880 -This also needs to be moved into the combo pack section.
release#13844 -The RightStuf Anime link gives all the info shown here but it's missing the extras. Maybe the archived data has it all? If not, DVDEmpire has them all listed.

With these two below for Evangelion 1.11, they're missing the extras and languages, but I'd recommend adding a note somewhere regarding certain extras not being in later pressings due to rights issues. These also come in slightly different packaging now (UPC is the same). Original | Later
release#15638
release#16298 -Seems to have taken the info from DVDEmpire for some reason.
Link for missing extras.
http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i267/sailorstardust/Rebuild%20stuff/vlcsnap-2011-03-22-21h08m24s93.png
http://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww121/TheStefanAnomaly/screencap.jpg

These need to be labeled sub-only.
release#31071 -Is it me or does the text for the description look weird here? It seems like it's that way on the Rightstuf listing too. Can this be fixed?
release#31070

@bglassbrook (previous page)

I've manually added the ones you have EANs for. I can't create a release without a unique and syntactically correct UPC, EAN or ISBN and I'm waiting to hear back on what to do with releases which don't have one.

It comes out very soon, and no one added it yet, so I tried to add Discotek's upcoming release of Lupin the 3rd Alcatraz Connection, and when I try adding it with the Amazon and Rightstuf URL's I get this error. Any idea what went wrong?

These Ranma 1/2 sets I just added need to be moved to Blu-ray (Region A).
release#31386
release#31387
release#31388
release#31389
release#31390
release#31391
[Edit]And for some reason it got the description from Amazon instead of Rightstuf for all of these, joy. What happened? Guess I should add the Amazon link only after it gets the description for a release when adding something.

These also need moving to Blu-ray (Region A)
release#30849 -Also needs episodes, special features, and languages.
release#30850
release#31143
release#30919
release#30921
release#29744
release#30904
release#30918
release#30922
release#30923
release#31362
release#30887
release#31359

This Yu-Gi-Oh! release needs the Rightstuf description instead, and also needs to be linked to this entry.
release#26732

These need changing to Nozomi Entertainment.
release#31098
release#31100
(Is it me or all the upcoming Sunrise/Rightstuf Gundam releases being listed with Bayview as the distributor?)

I don't know exactly how the check works, but it appears that moving from from 87570700* to 87570711* was a big enough shift to throw the system off. Once I add one release manually it should work for future ones.
