Probably not interested in Baka & Test (I like the premise but I've heard the series is very repetitive), and I already have all of Eden of the East on BD. Is the live-action Antique Bakery any good? I loved the manga, but I'm wary of live action adaptations of manga series.

There was a review of Antique Bakery on uk-anime.net recently. Check it out and see if it's your thing.

Thankyou for posting that link, having read it my initial impression holds: might buy it if I see it for the kind of really low price that many hollywood films eventually get marked down to on DVD (possibly secondhand), but I'm not willing to pay the kind of premium often charged for foreign films in the u.k. for what will probably be a moderately entertaining but ultimately disposable film that is nowhere near as good as the manga, maybe I'll check out a trailer just in case it really grabs me. I guess it might be really good fluff though, and I'm willing to pay good money for it if that's the case.
