Fixed it for you.

I've added a note; could you elaborate on how it was edited?

yes, i believe the license was originally bought by Manga Entertainmet which was dubbed in the UK and was released over in the US but was deemed too violent to release uncut, so Right Stuf International sub-licensed it under their Critical Mass label and released it uncut....

Considering the UK has a strict ratings body o_O

--edit--
The UK release was cut to meet an 18 certificate:

is it possible for ANN to please fix the VHS/DVD error so you don't have to keep changing it? Sad

It did the same thing to the Violence Jack OVA 2 and OVA 3 as well...
Sad

anime#769 (OVA 2)

anime#770 (OVA 3)

What format are the tapes?
"the uncensored version by Critical Mass was available in both dubbed and subtitled formats"

-- edit --

I just added this, which was correctly IDd as a VHS tape.

I assume the problem is in the listing itself - looking at the item attributes, your Violence Jack is listed as <ProductGroup>DVD</ProductGroup>, while the Digimon tape is under <ProductGroup>Video</ProductGroup>.

Given the lack of details, it is probably a marketplace listing rather than one originally listed by Amazon themselves.

That Cyber City Oedo tape from the other day had two listings under the same UPC:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00000GIBA
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NHYPGU
One has more information attached but is under <Binding>Paperback</Binding>, while also correctly being under <ProductGroup>Video</ProductGroup> and <ProductTypeName>VIDEO_VHS</ProductTypeName>.

i added VHS releases for Perfect Blue (i believe Perfect Blue is available in both Dub (R-Rated and Director's cut) and Sub (VHS)? as well and Very Private Lesson (was supposed to be VHS) but those got the same error.. Sad

Getting back to Violence Jack; Evil Town was actually banned in Australia...

However all 3 OVAs were released uncut in Italy and France...

Both the Perfect Blue tapes are showing as tapes.
Not going to search for Very Private Lesson on a work PC...

Still waiting for confirmation on what format the Violence Jack tapes are in since I can't change them to VHS without selecting either sub or dub.

TO change the releases you have added from hybrid DVD to VHS we need to know what format those specific releases are - sub VHS or dub VHS.

anime#769

(OVA 2) the fist vhs is Dubbed (edited)

(OVA 2) the second vhs is subtitled (uncut)

anime#770

(OVA 3) the fist vhs is sub (Right Stuf)

(OVA 3) the second dub (Manga Ent.) (edited version)

I THINK that's accurate...
