I'll have to check out Children Who Chase Lost Voices. Though it would have been nice if this article had mentioned what days this event was going on.

I would have to say Children Who Chase Lost Voices is the weakest of his works. The visuals are great but the story and the characters aren't particularly strong and memorable.

When did Laputa have a sense of adventure? Personally, I always found it to be the worst Ghibli Film, at least until I watched Earth Sea. It took me two tries to stay awake through Laputa. I was horribly disappointed in it.
However, while Voices had its issues, it was at least fun and interesting. The last 20 minutes could have been handled better, but I think it was a lot better than most of the Japanese films that get localized here.
