It was an adventure/comedy anime where the main character is a swordsman and has a traveling group. I can't remember what the characters look like or their names but the best thing I can remember is that either the opening or ending song (pretty sure it was ending) had the lyrics start off saying "Wake up!" at least 12 times. I can't remember if it was only on VHS or just came out on CD but if anyone can help me figure it out, it would be great. Thank you.

Gokudo, perhaps?

See the ANN page at anime#250

Discotek is rereleasing Gokudo later this month. Media Blasters originally released it in the U.S.

@ じゃがいも: I'm pretty sure it's Nandemonaiya. If not, based on this article, I think it's most likely 1, 8 or 24.

I don't think there's any anime/VN the video is based off. As far as I know, it's just the music video of album by Jun Maeda of Key and a vocalist by the name of Yanagi Nagi. Here's what Wikipedia says about it.

The song itself is called "Owari no Sekai kara" which roughly translates to "From the End of the World".

From what I can gather from the comments on this video, it was made exclusively for the song itself

I've been trying to find an answer for this on my own with no luck, so hopefully someone can clarify for me-

I'm looking to buy Your Lie in April on DVD, but from what I can tell the only release so far is in Blu-Ray? Does the Blu-Ray release contain a DVD playable copy as well or are there any plans to release it on DVD in the future? Thanks!

Considering the fact that that Aniplex of America has the license, I would say that the answer is no. I won't go into details to justify my opinion as that would merely invite yet another Aniplex rage-fest.

EDIT: Also, your question borders upon speculation.

Hello everyone. I'm TyrannosaurusSergio151, and I need help finding a lost piece of media. The piece in question is the 1973 series of Doraemon.

What is lost media? For those unaware, lost media is a type of media that is, well, lost. Lost media can be lost movies, lost TV shows, lost cartoons, lost video games, lost music, etc.

Now with Doraemon 1973 the show became lost due to the company, Nippon TV Video, losing money during the series' run, and sold the film reels containing episodes in order to pay off their debt.

Despite stories of some reels being found in a warehouse the episodes have not come out online. The only available assets of the show includes some screenshots, somewhat distorted audio of the last episode on YouTube, and the opening plus the ending to the show.

I'm not asking for episodes or clips, but leads to find the show. Please, no troll comments about owning some tapes okay? Any leads are graciously accepted. If you have any information, please reply to this forum, or head over to the Lost Media Wiki forums and reply to the "1973 Doraemon Expedition Recruitment!" board. Thank you for your replies and comments!

As nobahn noted, the U.S. (Region 1) release is currently Blu-Ray only.

If your DVD player can play Region 4 (Australia/New Zealand) DVDs, Madman has already released the entire series on DVD. Alternatively, if your player can play Region 2 (Europe) DVDs, Anime Limited plans to release the the first half of the series on DVD starting November 2016 with the second half to follow later.
