Sasha's anime design is almost an entirely different character in itself from the manga-version. Wow.

I wonder how ANN decides on which character to use to represent an example of a seiyuu's work. Otonashi? Sebastian? Such old roles! Anime hyper Sebastian I can imagine since it's one of OnoD's most well-known roles but I think Kamiya's done roles that are both more recent and more well-known than Otonashi. Maybe like Araragi? Not complaining... Just thought it was funny.

ANYway, awesome cast and I'll definitely be checking this out.

When I first read this on the anime's Twitter, all I could think was that Kamiya Hiroshi was absolutely the perfect choice for Rivaille...(Or is it Levi? Who knows. xD)

Definitely my number 1 most anticipated anime of the spring season.

The manga carefully avoids saying where and when the setting is. The most we know is that spoiler[before the Titan's invaded, humans at least had cannon-level technology], and that spoiler[Mikasa's family has East Asian heritage (supposedly the last of those who do)].

(I don't really think that these count as spoilers, but just in case.)
