What the!? Golgo 13!? Viz is actually re-releasing it!? HOLY SHIT! AWEsome...THE MAX!
I hope Aqua Knights gets re-released as well

i've heard of blackcat before and i think golgo13 is a long running manga right?

| Golgo 13 is more than a can't miss. I haven't seen any Duke Togo over here since I read "The Impossible Hit" in 1989. This is cause for celebration and worship. |

While this is nice and all it would really nice if 'Viz' would continue publishing the rest of the 'Phoenix' manga.
But I'm happy that the 'R.O.D' manga is being released. |

They already announced they were releasing the rest of it a couple of months ago at Anime Expo I beleive. |

Oh, man, Golgo 13 was the first manga I ever read. Waaaaaaaay back when the old Golgo 13 NES game came out, it included an offer for a "free Golgo 13 comic book!" So I sent away for it and got a comic about two months later. What was funny was, it was REALLY violent for something that was being marketed to NES players (keep in mind that back then the average gamer was about ten) but no one seemed to complain and there were no warnings about the content, which featured a scene where Duke snipes some fat rich guy in the head and we get graphic pictures of his dead body, complete with the bullethole in his forehead and his brains leaking all over the carpet. Fun. Golgo himself is hardly in the story-he just shoots the guy and leaves. The main plot involves the two cops who are trying to prove he did it. In the end, they give up because the shot he made-from something like a football field away, from a hotel balcony, between two skyscrapers and with the wind against him-was so difficult that "a jury would never buy it."
So yeah, nostalgia. I can't wait for this manga so I can read Mr. Eyebrow's further adventures. ^^ |

Yay!!! Thanks for telling me that. Though I wasn't able to attend. Now I'm wondering where that post that someone posted about them dropping it. But I guess it's still a go.
