Great news for a great series!
I only wish the response on the homefront was even remotely this good. Then we may stand a chance of seeing the anime brought over. |

Rumor said Sunrise and Bandai have invested a great deal of advertisement fee to Densha Otoko. I wouldn't be surprised if that's real. |

I watch this show every friday night.
I love this show.
I used to watch it on CN in Taiwan. I love the Taiwanese VAs. kekekeke
I highly recommend watching it. In Taiwan it in on during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (I forget which times)
The songs are really catchy. Love that 70's vibe. Afro akizza

I'm really crossing my fingers that Keroro Gunso gets released stateside someday. For now, I guess the manga will do. |

| I'm really surprised the anime hasn't been licensed. However, the asking price may be more than folks want to pay here. |

| I've seen merchandise for this series on the web, but have NO clue what it's about. The entry in ANN's encyclopedia is ok, I guess, but doesn't tell me enough about the series to let me know if it's worth watching (or worth joining the ranks trying to get it brought over). |

| I'd say start with the manga, especially since it is available in English. That and I wasn't that impressed with the anime episodes I saw - it seemed to eviscerate the humor of the series and replace it with watered-down stereotypical 'kid' humor (e.g. fart jokes). |

Yeah, that's a shame if it is the case, too. I enjoyed what I saw of this series (of course most Junichi Sato-directed stuff is great :)) and would really want the anime to be licensed. |
