Now if only his anime and manga titles could get licensed and published here in the States..

I know Mazinger and Cutey Honey are coming, but I demand more.

Seriously? You've never seen any of his color works on his books? If you've seen some of his Devilman Lady books each one comes with a color fold out. But this is a pretty extensive painting. Looks like you need to discover more of the man behind the creepiness. But since his work is not know to many outside I could see what your missing.Wink

Well,Chrno2. I've never read any of Go Nagai's manga period. I don't think they're available here in the States.

No they're not. The only way you'd be able to get some exposure to them would be if you visited a used Japanese book store like Book Offs or other book stores like Kinokuniya. But sadly his work is one that should see the light of day here in the states. While I'm glad that Shigeru Mizuki is getting exposure, even Osamu Tezuka, but Go Nagai being one of the old greats [Shotaro Ishinomori too] should also get a little exposure. The problem is someone who can sell him to the general public. But chances are his work would only be good for library institutions.

But if you're interested you can find quite a bit of his work around the internet. Wink
