| Not really. Those sales are pretty normal.
K-ON!! has been averaging 3k DVD first week copies sold per volume. It's so lopsided for BD it's not even funny. |

I know. For Japan. I'm just used to US sales numbers.
It's LD sales all over again! |

That's why I mentioned LD sales, when Japan switched to LDs over VHS. But I think it's just low because Japanese don't buy as much as Americans per capita, particularly with smaller abodes.

| because the price difference between the BD and DVD is not much at all
and BD you get all these goodies to go with in.... I don't know why would anyone buy the DVD (even if you don't have a blu-ray player) I have digital copies 1080 blu-ray rip of k-on!! on my computer, and also bought full set 1-9 k-on!! blu-ray from amazon.jp (not cheap) mainly for the tapestries though |
