Your comment is wrong in two levels.
1. Hatsune Miku is not real, neither there is an official anime or manga which contradicts Miku's apperarence in Playboy.
2. This is official, this is no fan made work.
I wonder who will be NEXT, considering this issue will sell like hot cakes and that Shueisha has a large pool of female characters to choose from. |

| Quote: | | (Weekly Playboy magazine shares the trademark of Hugh Hefner's American Playboy magazine but publishes its own, less explicit content.) |
This passage is abit confusing to say the least.
Weekly Playboy, while published by Shueisha, isn't technically the regional Japanese Playboy. That was Monthly Playboy (which Shueisha also printed), which ceased publication in 2009 due to low readership. Weekly Playboy uses a distinctly different logo/font than Monthly Playboy and the trademarks owned by Playboy, which includes the distinct font used by Playboy. |

| Seeing as how Playboy did Marge Simpson a while back, I'm surprise Japan didn't do this first, lol. Also other men magazine such as maxim uses videogames characters too. |

You do know that Japan has numerous Hentai magazines, right? |

Pretty sure egoist meant the real girl in the photo dressed as Miku, not some "real" / canon version of the character. |

| If you think egoist meant a real life, 3-D, flesh and blood girl, then you don't know egoist. |

Speaking of which, doesn't this also applies to 99.99% of non-Japanese fans who buy Japanese language Anime and Manga magazines for pictures? |

I know I like to go on about how hot bishonen are and all, but after seeing Miku next to a real, gorgeous woman all I could think of is if they did this with guys, I wouldn't give the virtual idol a second look. The appeal of sexy cartoons lose their appeal when next to real people for me it seems.
I going to go celebrate this self discovery with a couple of drinks with real men now. |
