I went to one of these events several years back when visiting NY (Author Alex Kerr was the speaker then). I highly recomend them.

Sounds interesting. Too bad I'm a bajillion miles away.
If I'm reading the article correctly, I don't understand the "death" and "rebirth" concept. I've always thought Japan's culture played an noteable role at least to the Western culture's eyes.
...or something like that. |
