| SHIT, I literally just drove back from Fukushima and I didn't even know there was an Animate store there. | ||||

| So much for Broccoli. Kids don't eat Broccoli. |

| As a Di Gi Charat fan, I find this kind of heartbreaking. | ||||

Come on now. Kids are bestial beings, surely they'd love to eat grass like things like most beasts. |

Kids aren't even classified as human beings, so they will eat what they're given and they will like it! As per the article, that's too bad. When I was in Akihabara, I much preferred the Gamers store to the Animate store. It was just laid out better and they had a better selection of stuff that I was interested in. |

Or Carrots. Eat too many of those and you'll turn orange. Makes me wonder though, what ever happened to the books that Broccoli Books had rights to? |

Aw, that was my first thought too! I remember those old Gamers comics that were all "GO GO GAMERS DOWN WITH THE ANIMATE SCUM WOOO" What will become of poor Digiko now!? D: |

| So much for Broccoli's Omocha Box Los Angeles TV ad.
America is the death-knell of many an anime company. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ http://www.youtube.com/ |

| Well, I personally think their peak was till 2004-2005, when they were having both Digi Charat and Galaxy Angel on TV, along with the long defunct US division and the Gamers shops (not to mention the Project GA games). While Gamers looked like healthy last time I was there in Tokyo (a few months ago), their statement makes it clear they feel goods-only is the way to go. Just hoping no one gets laid off as a result. | ||||
