IIRC, there's a version of Linux in Japan called Omoikane. Not sure if it's an actual Nadesico joke or just a mythology reference, though.

My Japanese is mediocre at best, but I wanted to point out that this is not a Linux-based Operating System. It's a set of patches to the standard Linux kernel (along with some utilities) to implement something called "Mandatory Access Control" (MAC), whatever that is. At least, that's what I've been able to figure out. Smile

So you can't download Tomoyo Linux, although you can apply the patch to Red Hat Linux, and a couple other distros as well. Sorry folks, the distro for anime fans is not here yet. Confused
