Changed my avatar from a scowling Dredd to a Dredd looking at things/people burn, partly because of my mood and the other partly for the really bad aliasing from shrinking the other one to fit in the avatar parameters.

Changed my to Judal from Magi.
I can't remember if I ever used a Magi avatar before though but I did enjoy season 2 and the current ongoing manga. Judal and Sinbad are among my favorite characters from the show so yeah. |

I was in the mood for a change tonight and just yesterday introduced a friend to Princess Jellyfish (she loved it!). So Tsukimi seemed like a good choice, though I'll admit I was originally thinking of using a pic of Kuranosuke in drag.

I felt it was time for a change, what with the summer season closing its ending. I had a hard time choosing from all the great anime and characters of this season (like, I was this close to choosing a policeman/stripper Matsuoka Rin), but Haikyuu's Karasuno team has completely stolen my heart. I couldn't pick just one member, so I used the cover for the Imagination single which features the whole team in a very nice square. I'm still a little unconvinced by the drastic loss of picture quality, but until I figure out something better, I think I'll stick with this one.

Previously I changed my avatar every season, but I really have not found anything else that fits me for a while. I actually tried recently to create some avatars, using a site that was able to shrink the size of pictures, but after doing it I was not happy and ended up using it on the source picture for my avatar, and made a small change that no one probably noticed. For whatever dumb reason I have felt no actual desire to use anything than this one of Mako as a Xenomorph. My avatar represents my interest of cult action horror movies and anime set in schools. The croquette in the mouth probably signifying that I will eat up a lot of anime despite the ingredients probably being questionable.
Kind of miss the change though, now I am boring like all the others who are comfortable with not changing every 3 months. |
