| So is it "Prototype" as in the original pitch manga, like Romance Dawn of One Piece? That should be pretty sweet.... it'll be interesting to revisit a time right before she began serialization. (though as far as I can remember, I don't think the art has actually changed very much over the series since it started, has it?) |

There has been some changes but not that much considering how some mangaka change their styles completely.
Usually you see some prototype manga released with the series itself, and then you get something like Soul Eater where the three prototype manga chapters are actually canon. |

So by prototype they are referring to the first Fullmetal Alchemist chapter Arakawa-sensei submitted for publication? Now that is something I would really like to see  |
