Had no idea the AZN even existed and ran into it last night. Some police robot series (Midnight Blue?) was on, followed by a single episode (#8) of Lodoss War.

Finding it was almost like a bad anime plot; I was trying to get the DVD to work with the TV, and ended up accidently channel surfing--I hit seek in a "dead zone" and couldn't cancel it! The first channel it came to with a signal was AZN, and I saw the police robot (mistook it for a Gundam suit at first). "Odd, this isn't the usual Cartoon Network release-of-the-month crap...." I was half expecting a Video Girl to pop out . . .

PATLABOR = "Patrol Labor" = "Police Robot"

"Midnight Blue" is just the name of the first closing theme song (well, for the TV series, for you nitpickers).

Ah. Thanks! The name was giving me visions of a government department or law for union activities...
