Concerning Fancy Lala, the guy in glasses sets up the initial premise and then fades out of the picture. I think he has at most a couple of minutes of screen time after the first episode. The rest of the show is all Fancy Lala herself.

with multiple Kickstarters and Animesols things to wait for I was actually glad that he was crazy detailed in that manner. You're spot on about that, definitely quite the contrast.

RE Fancy Lala, thanks for that info, I have a feeling that it will still be a part of my "to watch" list for quite awhile longer. Not every show grabs me right off (like Our Home's Fox...The Twelve Kingdoms, and many more..) so I tend to keep a lot of things in orbit.

Ordered the first volume of Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! from Rightstuf. I enjoyed the show enough to plunk down for PonyCan's release.. but feel a tad sour over the deal. Just not really enough extras to justify the high price.

I just started checking on the staff & cast credits for that one. Seeing that it's from the Director of Daily Lives of High School Boys I'm kinda interested now. *off to CR for a look see*.

Got an email from TRSI last night that my order for Knights of Sidonia Season 1 CE shipped.

Whoa, more than 3 weeks early. Was actually expecting Darker than Black BD Premium Edition to ship first since street date for that is around the corner.

Man, I saw the pics of the Sidonia box set on RightStuf's Facebook page, they look so nice! Too bad it goes against everything in me to have both the manga and the anime for something, and since I paid like $4 a volume, I'm good (though I'm missing 3). Still, I'm surprised at how reasonable the price is from Sentai on this one.

No digi-pack and all that art on postcards instead of a book or booklet. I figure that's how they cut the cost down. Personally, not a fan of postcards.

After reading a retail thread about Rurouni Kenshin, I went and looked it up on Ebay. I found a listing for all three seasons for 55 bucks. I looked up some info and the deal seemed legit so I hurried and bought it.
