I pre-ordered the following off of the Sentai Filmworks Store;
School-Live Box Set Chivalry of a Failed Knight Box Set & Big O Blu-ray (I've been waiting sooo long) I also pre-ordered the new Rem (RE:Zero) Figure off of the Good Smile Company. I'm in need of some new manga, just need to find something new to get into... |

I got the Nichijou Bluray/DVD and the Utena manga box set from Rightstuf today.
After my first two experiences with trying to put the Utena books back in their box, I finally said, "screw it" and put the books directly on the shelf next to the empty box. They really didn't think that one through at all. |

Just a thought: anyone know of good sites where I could purchase Japanese Blu-Ray imports? As Japan and U.S. share the same Zone for Blu-Rays, figured this could be a means for me to snag up any anime that has yet to get a stateside release?

I use CDJapan, HMV, and Amazon Japan. CDJapan's shipping is a little higher than the other 2, but they sometimes have better prices so it evens out.

Thanks to a surprisingly good sale at Target's website (and only their website), I got some manga I'd been behind on:
Ancient Magus' Bride 6 Sweet Blood 5, 6 Ubel Blatt 7 Yowamushi Pedal 4 Finding Netcomics stuff is such a pain, man! And Ubel Blatt vol 7 is the 8th volume of the series. Because Yen hates numbers I suppose. It was all about 39% off, with free shipping. Some random comic shop things: Dissolving Classroom Tokyo Ghoul 11 And the fourth Rick and Morty collected trade. Because R&M is amazing and we need season 3 asap. And, from a generous member who only gives things out for free to other ANN members on the members only forum: Iria OVA Madoka Magica bluray 1-3 Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer 1-10 Taboo Tattoo 1-3 |

I've used CDJapan and I'd recommend that too. I've been reading some things online that Amazon.JP was denying to ship outside Japan now though so maybe that one's not so good anymore. I also buy the occasional import movie from Japan if it has English subs, though that's only happened about 6 times total, maybe more if you count imports acquired through AniplexUSA or Rightstuf. I buy more JP CDs actually. |

Well, the Phantom of the Community Forum has struck again - that dashingly handsome and mysterious Benefactor who distributes free anime/manga/figures to all the good little boys and girls. My haul this time was the DVD versions of Super Gals seasons 1 & 2 as well as And Yet the Town Moves and the steelbook editions of GitS: Innocence, GitS: Solid State Society and Appleseed the Movie.
As an extra bonus, I also got the DVD version of the Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behaviour which, due to an onboard conversation a few months ago, the Phantom offered to me and I requested be kept until the next "Free to a Good Home" round. Thanks again, Phantom! |

Newcastle. Always bad for one's wallet. Acquired Konosuba novel 1, Baccano novel 3, A Bride's Story 8, Assassination Classroom 14, Requiem of the Rose King 5, Honey So Sweet 5, Shuriken and Pleats 2, Yona of the Dawn 4, Kamisama Kiss 23, Bloody Mary 5. Bargain of the day however was Attack on Titan volume 17 with the OVA DVD for 75% off £16.99 so £4.25... I don't even have any of the other volumes yet xD Also got Steins Gate part 1 on BluRay from CEX for £7.
