I really like this series. I've only got the first disc, but it's got a definite Giant Robo-esque feel (you know, being made by the same team and all), but it's not even remotely close to being that good.

And I would rate the music a lot higher, but hey, your opinion is fine.

I do hear the plot improves a lot closer to the end, though my friend did mention the second volume isn't as good as the first one, and seeing how much I enjoyed that, I'd be inclined to believe her.
