| Does this mean that the first license for UFO Princess included the second season? |

Hmm...
Too bad I'm not interested in either show.
C'mon, ADV! Announce FMP: The Second Raid or Guyver TV or something I like!!
(Hopefully Anime Boston will turn out some licenses) |

| A cheap, sub only, small release oldie? This should be interesting, especially if it actually sells enough. As usual, it's always nice to see ADV release some older stuff. |

Defintly buying ' Prefectural Earth Defense Force'.
ADV rule when it comes to releasing older releases. Just look at last years 'Five Star Stories. Amazing Video Quality, awesome packaging and some very nice linear notes in the form of a booklet.
And now we get yet another classic but for only $13 ($7 if you include online discount). |

goodie!!
I happen to like UFO Princess Valkyrie...although that "Ultramaiden" sounds a bit corny....
and yeah...does that mean they licensed the entire series including second season?
I know that there are 6 episodes of the OAV that were released not too long ago.... |

I don't think they've licensed the second season of UFO. There was an OVA special (which apparently is not listed anywhere on this site) that was loosely connected to the first episode. It's nothing too special, but it's heartwarming and cavity-inducing like most of this stuff is.
I still think using Ultramaiden makes it sound like it's pr0n. I mean, it's only rampant fanservice. |

| The reason for using UFO Princess Ultramaiden instead of UFO Princess Valkyrie causes some sort of copyright conflict here in the US. |

They do, but they currently aren't re-printing most of their releases because of hardly any sales, such as Can Can Bunny Extra - the only licensed hentai that I thought that was actually worth buying because it isn't useless crap like that of Angel Blade or most of the other stuff currently available. |

OH MY GAWD! Prefectual Earth Defense Force????
That's an OLD one!
This was the very FIRST OVA I had EVER seen when I first attended an anime club back in 85'.
Of course I still have my old VHS raw copy. I will defenitely be getting this one and adding it to my vintage collection. |

Well, this clarification of the UFO stuff reassured my previous post. This special is connected to the first episode and is pretty much par for the course as far as Valkyrie goes. It's bridal training |
