I.. I really didn't think that even counted as a song..
And yes, TakinawaTonfa, Fly Me to the Moon is a standard by Frank Sinatra. And despite my friends and family wanting to disown me for it, I say it's a good song

Wow... just, wow. For the record though, I've heard that there was another time someone sang an anime song on American Idol. Supposedly, someone sang "Heart of Madness," the ending to the Hokuto no Ken/Fist of The North Star movie. The clip was floating around for a while, but I've never seen it. |

Not to sound racist in any way, but somehow I wasn't expecting a big African American male to be the one singing the Jigglypuff song. Don't hurt me.
Maybe he's the voice actor for Jigglypuff. Either that or he skipped puberty. Or both.
Hahahahahahahahaha. I've never been so ashamed of the Japanese language in my life. That was great. |

I was more shocked when I heard that someone sang a Silverstein song on the show. I hunted a video immediately.
Of course, when I found a video, it was as I predicted. The guy was pretty good, but American Idol is just looking for the next crappy pop act, and by next, I mean SOUNDS THE SAME AS ALL OF THEM. I oppose American Idol and their stuck-up attitudes. They don't understand nor do they deserve a Silverstein song or a guy with as much heart as Ryan Hart. Meanwhile, I soon won't be able to turn on the radio or a music channel without having to hear or see their next boring winner... once again! Dang... I've never seen a Pokemon episode in Japanese. Is the Jigglypuff song the same in Japanese, except using Purin in place of Jigglypuff? |

Last year, someone attemped singing Heart of Madness from Fist of the North Star. Needless to say, the guy really, and I mean REALLY sucked.
