"Special Edition" is a marketing term that is so overused with DVD releases so as to be almost meaningless, at least in those cases when the one and only DVD release of the film is given the SE tag when there is no "Regular Edition" that it is "Special" in relation to.
Don't expect a deluxe tin box or collectors' book or anything like that.

This is some great news...a release date two days before my birthday. Deleted scenes sound sexy.
But looking at the vocal cast...It's awesome, but Crispin Freeman should have definitely been casted as Sephiroth rather than Rude, amirite? He would be able to pull off a villian of Sephiroth's calibur to a tee in my opinion.

See? What else to say?
ONLY the best anime/Japanese animation gets dubbed by California/Hollywood actors/actresses.
This makes VAs of California/LA the best in the industry.
I mean:
David Wittenberg, Steven Blum, Michelle Ruff, Crisipin Freeman...
...excellence.
The DVD should be released within the year 2006.

It's official. Crispin Freeman has a super agent that won't rest until he's in everything.

At least it's not one of those release dates that online retailers have been making up upsetting those poor fans.

Chances are that release another edition when ever they get around to the Last Order. Yippie.
Need the less, atleast April is better then "sooner or later this year.". Kind of yank our chains with that.

For making us wait this ****ing long, they should release a tin box or a special US version of the extra stuff released in Japan.

Steven Blum as Vincent Valentine? Good role! The voice casting for the Dub looks promising now.

I'm going to go ahead and make it clear here that I will replace any more "OH MAN THIS IS ALL A RUSE I BET THEY PUSH IT BACK AGAIN" or "OH GOD WE'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG THEY BETTER NOT DELAY IT AGAIN" replies with this image:
We get it, it's been pushed back a lot and people think this date won't hold, it's already been said many times. We do not need 6 pages of people making the same comment over and over again. If your reply magically becomes a panda bear you'll know what happened.

Damn it! I'm not gonna watch the dub now.
I had VERY specific, minimal rule for what has to be in the dub:
Barret's v.o. = Mr. T
There is NO compromise. No offense Beau Billingslea, but you aint Mr. T.
No dice.

Barret barely shows up in the whole movie, so why would it matter if Mr. T voices him or not. Besides, he isn't that "stereo typical" black person.
