I have to admit this is an interesting creation. I was wondering when they were going to get this up and running.
Better put that on my list of manga suggestions. I'm sure the students here will find this worth a read. |

No. That scene was an homage to another samurai movie, Zatoichi, the Blind Samurai. |

This reminds me of the independent comics that were coming out from companies like First, Eclipse and Dark Horse during the late 80s and early 90s.
I'll give it a look but at first glance, despite the dynamic artwork, I wonder if this isn't one of those derivitive creations that borrows from a huge number of sources but never manages to seamlessly blend into something all it's own.
Of course, that describes about 75% of all anime and manga, so I don't get what the fuss is surrounding this book. |
