Not nearly as bad as some of the news now and days. Including recent events.

It's not surprising that the titles are going to be eradicated from this website, given that Tokyo Pop in US is shutting down.

Well, this is actually good news. Since Tokypop is going out of business, it's a given that it's titles are going out of print. And for digital sales, that obviously would mean that you wouldn't be able to buy any more titles digitally. The major risk in such a situation is that the titles previously bought become unusable due to how their DRM works. And that isn't what's happening here. People who have previously bought Tokypop manga in digital form will still be able to read what they've bought. And that news is good news. Obviously it sucks that Tokypop is going away, but the fact that those who bought the digital manga that they published won't be losing it makes this good news. And they're even giving a deadline by which you need to buy whatever digital volumes you haven't bought yet instead of just stopping sales without warning!

FYI Johanna from Comics Worth Reading has said all the Blu titles have been removed early per the request of Gentosha Publishing.
