Shame Inazuma Eleven will never air here because America hates Soccer. It's pretty entertaining and had a nice run, and one of the most hot blooded anime of the current era.

...Also a shame Detective Conan will never air here due to censorship.

...Or a shame One Piece will never air here due to 4Kids dub messing everything up.

...Also a shame Suite PreCure will never air here because American networks dislike female lead cartoons.

...But also a shame Shin-chan will nev-, wait, Funi's dubbing more? Well, that's cool Razz

How the heck did Dragon Crisis sneak into the top 20? I didn't even realize it was still airing

We will never get uncut release of Shin-chan only the bastardized South [strike]Park[/strike]Texas version.

Dallas isn't South Texas man.

Awesome to see Noitamina ratings increase. I'm really enjoying Ano Hana, and as soon as I have time to check out C, I'm sure I'll enjoy that as well.

The first 51(or something like that) episodes of Detective Conan did air in America as Case Closed on Adult Swim a few years ago.

Already got my Shin-Chan S3 Pt1 pre-ordered. I don't care if it "bastardized" it's still fantastic and hilarious! If you haven't watched it, your failing at life!

Only it DID air here. The Funi dub did, on Toonami. However, with the end of Toonami and no hub to air anime on Cartoon Network, it went online.

A regrettable thing, but certainly not 4Kids' fault for once.

Mamoru Oshii's Innocence film spinoff to Masamune Shirow's Ghost in the Shell manga re-aired on Monday, April 25 at 1:59 a.m. with a 1.2 rating.
Not bad for 2 in the morning. It could have been 0.2. I wonder if recording devices like TiVo are counted as well. in that figure. They are in the UK.

Don't Funi's DVDs have a sub track? Or is it a dub-only release?

Probably should have clarified, I mean it bombed in the ratings because they're airing essentially a kids/family show on Adult Swim (well, Bleach is also a kid's show, but it's an 'edgier' and 'cooler' kids show) Conan just doesn't work on American TV, it's way too violent to be aired on any kids channel, but it's not gritty or 'extreme' enough to be aimed at adults here; it's a fairly light hearted series aimed at everyone in Japan; it's just all the violent murder and death keeps it from being one here. Classic example of the difference between the two country's standards. And without a TV deal, longer running series just have no chance in America.

Very Happy [Clarification]Well yeah, but I like to think 4Kids' dub killed any mainstream interest in it by the time Funi's dub aired for a short time; could have been popular like YYH or Naruto or other 'semi-uncut' dubs on CN at the time for all we know.[/Clarification]

Dub only because the video and script are heavily edited.

Oh Gintama, your movie was truly amazing. :)
Especially with the War-san and Ner-san joke xD

W00T! Detective Conan! It's a shame how underrated it is.
Although if it aired in the U.S I don't think it'd do too well. It's really long, and it's still going. Granted, while most series in America that are successful are long, when you think about it, they involve some sort of fighting. DBZ, Pokemon, YuGiOh, and Naruto...
So yeah, I doubt it'd be the next big thing here.

Ah.. guess that's true now that I think of it. If it was just script changes an uncut sub wouldn't be hard.. well, aside from I know they don't air the show in order and cherry pick episodes.

the shows I will mention are not among the top, but, in my opinion, it is fair... i had to drop watching Iroha and Enma shows, which started to air in april, because:
1) Iroha is too dull, mundane, slice of life shojo thing...
2) Enma has no actual big-scale scenario, only "story of the week" plot which does not move any events at all...
