Hello im looking for an anime with a story of that similar to like an rpg game, travelling to new towns to save the world, a party, magic plot twists are there any shows that are similiar to this???

Even though I haven't watched it....you should check out .Hack. It's about this guy Tsukasa that gets stuck inside an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game). It's very narrative so don't expect much action....(from what few episodes I've seen the shows kinda boring but I intend to start watching it from the beginning and give it a chance)

There is also the new .Hack//Roots just coming out now.
Personally I would reccomend Wolf's Rain as the best adventure anime out there. There is also a show called Utawarerumono that has just began airing, it has a fantasy setting and its based on an RPG as well. Might wanna check out Record of Lodoss War as wel. Its a pretty popular fantasy anime but I don't really like it so I cant reccomend it. There is also an Orphen anime, but al I know about it is that it is based on an RPG.l |

Definately Slayers. The series and/or the movies/OAVs. It's a fantasy/adventure/comedy. A bit older, but it's a classic. Seems to fit with what you're looking for.
