I think that remake of Outlaw Star[What was it again? Serenity?] he did last year just proved he wasn't cut out to adapt anime. |

A few people in the past have complained about the time it takes ANN to get certain news onto the site.
This is a perfect example of why I'd rather wait and verify the information. I have the utmost respect for various other sites who chose to not repeat this stupid rumour, and less so for the sites that did repeat it, even if they said "Until we hear otherwise, this is only an unconfirmed rumour."
ANN obviously decided to not repeat the rumor until we could confirm it one way or another.

that movie was a remake of Outlaw Star? never seen it, but F**K HIM!! |
The person said they were joking before my reply to this, but Serenity was a movie based on the cancelled only after 13 episodes Fox series Firefly, it even used the original cast. So your anger is misplaced. |

To tell you the truth, I don't go to any other sites for my anime news. I only trust ANN. ANN is official and is my number 1 source for anime on the Internet.
As for the news, it's wonderful. Who'd want Lindsay Lohan playing Sailor Moon?
As for Firefly, I thought it was a good show. I don't think FOX should've cancelled it. It was just one of those cult things like how Star Wars was when it first came out, or so I've heard. |

I'm amazed at how many people thought this could be true, how funny. Thanks for finally killing the rumor.
Plus, Whedon wouldn't cast Lindsay Lohan, I'd imagine Trachtenberg would be on the fast track for the title role. |

...Hahaha, I think she'd actually make a good Sailor Senshi. (Michelle Trachtenberg, not Lohan.) |

| Thank G_d. That show did enough to sully the reputation of Japanese style animation in the West. Glad to see it's not getting another chance. |

yeah, sure. It was just such a horrible show, how could anybody have watched it. Why don't you go troll in a DBZ thread or something. |

Two words, elitist: Make me.
This is the reason anime fans get a bad name. To you hardcore snobs, you either have to like it all or you're a troll. This is not "The Sailor Moon Worship and Genuflecting Thread", which means I can give my opinion as well of the show, whether you like it or not. Get off your cross, use the wood to make a bridge, and get over yourself.....please. |

So your position is that Sailor Moon, a show that brought countless people into anime and is the most successful shojo series of all time, sucks for reasons you are apprentally incapeable of sharing with us, and anyone who stands up for it needs to "get over themselves..." but you're NOT the one being elitist?
You're funny.
Also: Firefly was a really good show that died before its time. The first episode or so did borrow a few plot points from Outlaw Star, but it quickly went in its own unique direction and kicked butt, so I forgive it. |

I'm glad for the opposite reason, I always thought Sailor Moon was a great show, and I'm glad that now Lindsey Lohan won't get the chance to ruin it. |
