Whatever it was: hentai anime/manga or whatever...What was that idiot doing with it at school? Is/was he OUT OF HIS PEA-PICKING MIND!!! What has happened to common sense. Like this recent trend of FEMALE teachers having sex with their underage students?

I hope you aren't trying to say that this isn't completely wrong just because they might have seen worse. |

Havn't you ever brought a sketch book to school to pass those boring times with? He probably just forgot that those pictures were in that notebook or wasn't really thinking. It was a case of an absent mind. This whole thing seems to be a bit overthe top. It was just art.

At least it wasn't this guy:
Seriously though, one teacher giving a bad impression should not be able to effect the way all anime/manga are percieved. As fans, we already know the truth. So long as we remain calm and explain this and that when needed, everything will be fine in the end. |

Its just a teacher carrying porn that happened to be anime style instead of other variasions. no part of this is "anime news".
oh , and always, remember, a teacher who carries hentai in elementry school , probebly is a total ass, that why the students got rid of him. hehe

Who brings 65 pictures and a notebook full of porn to work on accident? |

My 11 and 13-year-old never has as far as I know, and I trust them to react the same way if ever confronted in a similar situation. This "teacher" was an idiot for ever having anything like that in his possession at school. I don't believe it was an accident that those students found those drawings unless the "teacher" was even more of an idiot than I believe he is. He could have been "phishing" for a target to groom. |

It is news with anime as a part of the story. "Court documents also state that he had 65 Anime images in his bookbag ." Look what the TV reporter had to say about anime:
"Anime is a style of animation which originated in Japan. It often contains graphic adult imagery."
So maybe you only want to see stories of "This is licensed. That ain't. Piracy sucks." Me, I like seeing these stories with anime as an element because I'm interested in seeing how the press treats it. Clearly, anime doesn't often contain graphic adult imagery. |

| Oh yeah, I agree it was uncalled for but more likely it's the kid in class drawing it secretly instead of the teacher. |
