| um ok i'm confused what does this article all mean? does this mean 4kids is going bankrupt? and why is this Beacon giving them $2 million? AND WHEN WILL KAHN-BAKA APOLOGISE FOR SAYING THAT god i hate that man! and uh what is the fate of all his other victoms? this article is confusing |

So what? Sailor Moon had lesbians too but that didn't stop Dic and Cloverway from dubbing it. |
When it comes to the sailor moon "dub" you mentioned i would call that a slaughterfest.I know i am way off topic but i had throw that out there for amusements sake.Just for a good chuckle. |

4Kids is not going bankrupt. Beacon is giving 4Kids money and/or services as part of an unfair competition settlement--can't find any further details on that one. |

I dunno, their move to "more mature programming" really has to do more with licensing than shows. Their new 4Sight *chuckle* branch is apparently set (at least for the moment) on the promotion and licensing of things like the Royal Air Force, the American Kennel Club, and the Cat Fanciers Association. Sure, their "ultimate goal" is to become a "leader" in properties for an audience that's older than what they currently target, but there is no clear sign that the 4Sight *chuckle* brand will include anime.
If this is a move towards more "mature" stuff, then I find it sad that 4Kids is letting go of some of the people that worked on their best-treated property. Maybe since Nintendo of America has taken over Pokemon, this is a way of 4Kids to remove all connections with that property. Again, quite sad. |

| Just from reading that article, I think the concept for the Chaotic card game (not the TV show, which is just a Yugioh rip-off) sounds kind of cool, with the online battles and all. It looks like something kids could really "get into", and if they do this right, this could be another major success for them. The only thing is that none of the people I know actually collected Pokemon and Yugioh cards to "play" with; they just liked looking at the pictures. |

It sounds like they might be doing what WB is doing and just focusing more on their own properties rather than imports. And I understand that WB made the change because anime producers were asking too much for their shows.
I wonder if this also means they might get into Internet distribution of the material. There's a ripe business there for anyone who wants to legally get into it (and shut down the illegal sites). |

And since it's towards the end of the series(and we all know 4kids doesn't look in advance!), 4kids won't know what to do with it. They'll be like "With their magical power, they've suddenly become cousins!"  lol |

Oh. I thought that was Tony K. I guess mabey tempest did edit it.
Anyways, I referred to my statement. Just imagen if 4kids got Naruto, They would butcher it into a bloodless 6-11 cartoon. But I'm glad they didn't get it. Because then Naruto would become a no-blood cartoonT_T Save GUYVER: The Bioboosted Armor.

ok um i think i get it now (i feel sory for beacon now) an uh Wolverine Princess, no i sure hope this dosen't happen because then 4kids will get lots of money, which is of course is bad cause then they will once more buy anime in bundles of 10 and screw them all up so everyone WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T BUY THOSE CARDS WHEN THEY COME OUT and do what you can to make sure no one else starts liknig them cause trust me THE LAST THING YOU WANT IS FOR THEM TO HAVE MORE MONEY cause if we do then their will be a whople bunch of chaos (pun intended) so the best thing now is to make them go bankrupt! which we alredy know thanks to the unfortinute success of pkmn and ygo that it may take some time and if they get money from this it will only take longer! so tell your little brothers and sisters or heck any little kids you know that admire and look up to you not to buy those cards, that game is made by the devel (Al Kahn, the devel, same thing) and in the meantime i'm sure we will all probily be getting forced to pay those monthly tributes to <s>arlong</s> Uncle Al so remember DON'T BUY THOSE CARDS |
